Fiamma celebrates 45 years

When he held his newborn son in his arms for the first time in July 1977, Nelson Serra may have looked up at the sky and wondered what the future held for this little baby. Wiser men and adventurers of all times have taken their cues from the stars.

Nelson’s thoughts were probably more down to earth, however, as he was determined to embark on another venture. Just a few days later, he founded a company that would eventually grow into a family of its own. Today you know it as Fiamma Espresso!

A Fiamma family

That’s the family we’re celebrating these days. For 45 years, we have been together to care for espresso machines. We train people to become espresso experts and work hand in hand. We build knowledge and networks with our partners and friends to send amazing espresso machines all around the world.

It’s a triple jubilee

This week we celebrate Nelson’s birthday, the birthday of his now grown son Pedro who is steering our ship into the future, and the birthday of Fiamma, the family we have all become. Thank you for being part of this story of coffee, family and love! May we continue it together with you!
