Year of foundation of RST, Lda. Led by Nelson Serra, who together with his partners in the automotive sector started the manufacture of battery chargers and accessories for cars. 1982

Nueva fábrica

The new factory is inaugurated, in the newly created Zona Industrial da Taboeira, in Aveiro, with an area of 3000m2.

1992

Nuevos modelos y certificación NP EN ISO 9000

Over the course of the decade, new models of espresso coffee machines were launched, and the manufacture of the MCF and MCF2 coffee grinders and a whole line of catering equipment began. This year, RST becomes one of the first companies to obtain the NP EN ISO9000 certification.

1995

Internacionalización

The first steps towards internationalization are taken, with the opening of a branch in Brazil and the 1st participation in an international exhibition, in Chicago.

2001

Expansión

The success achieved with espresso coffee machines and catering equipment led to the opening of new branches and, in 2001, the factory increased its facilities to an area of 6000m2.

2002

25 Años

The company’s 25th anniversary is marked with the launch of the iconic PRESTIGE coffee machine, which would become one of the biggest sales successes of its time.

2003

HOST Milano

1st presence of Fiamma at Host, in Milan.

2013

1ª máquina de doble caldera

Fiamma enters a new era of development becoming a recognized innovative company, namely with the launch of the Compass DualBoiler. At this point, the company already exports 60% of its production to 65 countries.

2017

Astrolab

With the launch of Astrolab, Fiamma presents much more than a new model. It’s a spectacular technological statement, with an iconic design, that allows the company to enter market segments that were not accessible before. The factory is expanded again, now with 8000m2.

2022

Actualmente…

At a stage still heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the company is working on expanding its facilities to 10,000 m2, while the new semi-professional machine, NAU, is born, already one of the most beloved models by its customers.
